Dr. Patel and the entire staff at Lake Nona Ophthalmology love being part of our community and this time of year is perfect because it gives us the opportunity to give back on a larger scale. Now and throughout the holiday season, we will be hosting donation drives to help those in need in our community. You can bring your donation to our office upon your next visit.
For these drives we will be working with local charities including Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Toys for Tots. We will be accepting donations in the form of:
- Monetary Donations
- Nonperishable Food Items
- Unwrapped Toys
When you donate to either of these causes, your name will be added to our holiday tree in the office and you will also qualify for added discounts to our Holiday Med Spa Specials.
About Our Charities
Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a private, nonprofit organization that collects, stores and distributes donated food to more than 550 feeding partners in six Central Florida counties: Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia.
The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.
