Lake Nona Ophthalmology announced this week that they are officially open and accepting new patients. The practice combines comprehensive medical and surgical eyecare with a boutique facial medical spa. The unique combination of services is a first for the Lake Nona area.
Located in the Lake Nona Village Plaza on Narcoosee Road, just south of NorthLake Park, the practice will house the two service lines under the names “Eyecare” and “Med Spa”, respectively.
Eyecare at Lake Nona Ophthalmology offers complete eyecare services from founder, and fellowship trained ophthalmologist, Dr. Chirag J. Patel. From common eye exams to complex ocular surgery, both adults and children are eligible to be seen at the practice.
Med Spa at Lake Nona Ophthalmology uses a unique, team-based approach to focus on facial beauty and cosmetic wellness for patients. From Botox to microdermabrasion, patients receive treatment from the practice’s skin care specialist and aesthetician as well as a Nationally-Certified Physician Assistant.
“I’m extremely excited that the practice is finally open and we can further integrate ourselves into the Lake Nona and Southeast Orlando community,” says Dr. Patel. “My goal for the practice has always been to create a modern, innovative, and patient-first model for the delivery of top-notch comprehensive eyecare and facial wellness. I feel like we’ve done that, and now it’s just a matter of getting to know our neighbors and growing the practice.”
