An emergency eye examination is performed when the eyesight is believed to be at risk. If you are experiencing and sudden symptoms or signs in either or both eyes, please see an ophthalmologist immediately.

- Metal or foreign material in the eye
- Chemicals in the eye
- Injuries to the eye
- Pink eye
- Red, swollen or painful eyes
- Extreme sensitivity to light
- Double vision
- Sudden loss of vision
- Flashes of light
- Floaters
- Discharge of the eye
