We are excited to announce that we have moved into our new, state-of-the-art ophthalmology center and medical spa.
The move comes in response to the unprecedented growth we’ve experienced over the last few years, with more and more patients booking appointments at Lake Nona Ophthalmology and Med Spa. While the decision to move our practice wasn’t easy, it was the right thing to do in order to continue providing exceptional experiences for our patients.
Chirag J. Patel, M.D., F.A.C.S., board-certified ophthalmologist and founder of Lake Nona Ophthalmology, says, “My vision was to create a state-of-the-art comprehensive eye care center that continues to blend personal care with the latest technology. We want to be the area’s leader in comprehensive eye care, vision correction surgery, cataract refractive surgery, and oculoplastic and facial aesthetics.”
What Does Our New Location Offer?
With over 5,000 square feet dedicated to patients, we designed our new facility to be as functional as possible while keeping patient comfort in mind. The new location is divided into two parts, creating separate environments for our medical practice and aesthetic practice.
Each section functions independently–the separation helps us to manage the flow of patients from each side, allowing you to come and go more easily. In terms of functionality, the office delivers high-end technology and amenities to enhance the patient experience and facilitate care.
The new space provides a patient-first environment with amenities like a high-speed wireless guest network, a beverage and snack bar, and self-check-in kiosks.
Additionally, visitors to the med spa have access to a private room with a dedicated staff who are standing by to attend to the needs of patients. The private area was created to ensure a high level of personalized care and attention for patients undergoing treatment at our facility.
Our medical practice features eight exam rooms, a procedure room, a laser room, and a LASIK suite. The Med Spa features four additional exam rooms.
When it comes to improving the patient experience at our new practice, Dr. Patel says, “We have invested in the latest technology that will continue to elevate the care our patients receive.”
How Does the Move Affect Our Practice?
Dr. Patel’s vision for serving Orlando-area patients is expansive. As we settle into the new facility, Dr. Patel intends to expand our offerings to include several new in-office procedures, including refractive surgery, such as LASIK and PRK. On the Med Spa side, we are also offering several new aesthetic treatments for patients, including Morpheus 8, BBL, Moxi, HydraFacial Sydeo, and PRP. In-office blepharoplasty is also now available.
What hasn’t changed is the attentiveness and care provided by our skilled staff members.
Dr. Patel says, “Our vision was formed with the patient’s experience in mind. Although our space is much bigger, we want to make sure that each patient continues to feel our personal and sincere commitment to providing the highest quality care. We are so privileged to have an opportunity to earn and keep your trust.”
