Morpheus8 is a revolutionary nonsurgical advanced needling procedure that allows the skin’s own natural healing properties to remodel, contour, and rejuvenate the skin. What’s It Like to Have a Morpheus8 Treatment?

First, you will talk with the doctor about your medical history to ensure you are a suitable candidate for the treatment. The doctor will carefully examine the areas to be treated and discuss the procedure, possible complications, and aftercare.

Your Morpheus8 treatment begins with a local skin anesthetic to decrease the sensation of the experience. After the topical numbing cream desensitizes the area to be worked on, a small handheld application will pass over the area. The applicator tip has tiny needles powered by radiofrequency energy. As the needles penetrate the skin, energy is infused deep into the tissues. This stimulation is applied across the problem area.

The Morpheus8 treatment is relatively pain-free, in part because the needles are very fine and sharp to eliminate any sensation of tugging or pulling. The topical cream reduces the sensation further so that the entire experience is a comfortable one. The entire treatment takes 30-minutes, on average, depending on your goals and the areas to be treated.

After our Morpheus8 treatment, you should not touch or apply creams to the treated areas for 12 hours following the procedure to help prevent infection. You should avoid direct sun for a few days after the treatment and skip makeup as well. Specific aftercare instructions are given by your doctor after the treatment. Your doctor may be able to recommend specific skin care products to promote healing and increase the success of your treatment.

How Long Does Morpheus8 Last?

One Morpheus8 treatment can last a year or longer. Typically, we see the treatment benefits lasting 12 to 18 months. We recommend annual follow-up sessions to maintain the results over time. Morpheus8 can also work well with other skin treatments to beautify the body.

Is Morpheus8 Safe and Are There Side Effects?

After the treatment you may experience some scabbing or tissue swelling. Redness is similar to going to the beach but this usually subsides after just a few days. You’ll probably see pin marks from the microneedling but those heal well within the first week or two.
