How is a HydraFacial Performed?
We start by purifying the skin with water and a gentle facial cleanser to remove any excess oil and debris from the surface of the skin. Employing the specially-designed HydraFacial device, we then exfoliate the skin and remove further debris and oil from within the pores.
After exfoliating the skin, we then do a light chemical peel on the surface to help stimulate the skin cells and promote exfoliation. Following the peel, we do extractions with our HydraFacial handpiece. The extractions get into the follicles using salicylic acid to remove any impactions stuck inside. Once the extractions are completed, we neutralize the skin using water that neutralizes the acids.
To fuse and protect the skin, we then apply an anti-ox formulation, which is a potent blend of antioxidants and hyaluronic acid to help with skin repair and hydration. Once it all sets into the skin, we apply a light moisturizer and sunscreen to protect the patient.
