Certain medications such as oral Minoxidil (the main ingredient in Rogaine) can also affect hair density, color, and thickness. Because dermaplaning is a superficial exfoliation of the skin with the added benefit of “shaving off” the peach fuzz it does not affect natural hair growth patterns.
